ReplyDeleteThe area below and around the Dartford Bridge (officially The Queen Elizabeth Bridge) is fascinating. Once you get away from the brand-new industrial estate by the side of the bridge, you find yourself in a strange wasteland of shaggy fields, broken-down barbed wire fences and half-derelict sheds where tinker ponies are kept. Great setting, and I can totally believe that bands of Kellys venture forth from the area bent on criminal deeds ...
