  1. Mamane's the boy with the Biram, the only remaining player of this esoteric instrument that is passed from master to student on the shores of LAke Chad. There is a lot of talk about fishermen and the selection of special bits of wood and the hide of a certain cow to make the Biram. Pretty as it is, when Omar the drummer takes over, the house gets hot.
    He has the most life affirming smile of any human being alive today..
    Astonishing that music of this quality takes plave in a seaside backwater on the shores of Lake Channel.
